He was predeceased by: his parents, Naomi Willetts Reed and Rev. William Reed, Sr.; his brother Mark Reed; his nephew William Reed III; and his grandfathers, Jess Clinton Reed (Maria Williams Reed) and Frank Willetts (Julie Ann Skidmore).

He is survived by: his wife Niecee; his children, Jessie Larson (Andy) of Merritt Island, FL and Jeremy Reed of Merritt Island, Two; his brothers, William Reed, Jr. (Elaine) of Ranson, WV and Jess Reed (Sharon) of Gaithersburg, MD; and his sister-in-law Susan Reed of Mt Airy, MD.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and cousins.
