With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Walter Martin (Merritt Island, Florida), who passed away on February 9, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Locksmith Walter Martin and Irmgard Martin. He is survived by: his stepfather Jack Hughes; his sister Ulla Love (Colonel Jack Love); his nephews, Jack Love Jr. and Danny Love; his niece Theresa Ann Love; and his friend Kurt Seifert.

“Walter, I’ve only known you about 4 years, but I will miss seeing you walk early in the morning. I am grateful that I had the opportunity to pray with you this last year. You weren’t quite sure how to respond when I would tell you “I love ya’, Walter: but Jesus loves you more!” But in the last six months you just smiled about it. One morning, when I said that and turned to walk away, you said, “I love you, too.” It made my day! I know you are now walking with Him on golden streets.”
