It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Allen Bahr of Merritt Island, Florida, born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on February 11, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Richard Allen shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Richard Allen farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Hagerty Bahr and Alfred Bahr; and his brother James Alfred Bahr. He is survived by: his wife Glenda Colley Bahr; his children, Matthew Allen Bahr (Heidn) and Kristi Ruben (Andrew); his grandsons, Sawyer Allen Ruben (Anna) and Reece Issac Ruben (Ashlyn); and his great grandchild Hudson A. Ruben.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 at the Indian Harbour Beach Community Center – Gleason Park (1233 Yacht Club Blvd, Indian Harbour Beach, FL 32937).
