He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Smithson and Carole Smithson; and his brother Jon Smithson. He is survived by: his daughters, Amanda Smithson and Shannon Wimberly; his sister Karen Henderson (Gary); his nieces, Lillian and Katherine Henderson; his sister Cheryl Forman (Ted); his niece Stella; and his nephew Eric Smithson. He is also survived by his family, friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Wylie-Baxley Funeral Home (1360 N Courtenay Pkwy, Merritt Island, FL 32953). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 1:15 PM to 1:45 PM at the Brevard Memorial Park (320 Spring St, Cocoa, FL 32927).
