We are sad to announce that on January 27, 2025, at the age of 86, John Hopkins of Merritt Island, Florida, born in Chicago, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy John leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though John may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edward Hopkins and Mary Hopkins.
A Mass was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM and on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM. Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Mater Christi Church (2431 S 10th Ave, North Riverside, IL 60546).
