It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James H. Lane of Merritt Island, Florida, who passed away on August 12, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ila Lane (Donaldson) and Earl Lane. He is survived by: his son Randy Lane (Jean); his granddaughters, Christine and Heather; his wife Johnnie Faye; and his daughter Pam Lane.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in memory of Buddy Lane, to the First United Methodist Church of Cocoa Beach, 3300 N. Atlantic Ave., Cocoa Beach, FL 32931.

Mr buddy was a man if you met him you would never forget him. To his son Randy, he was so so proud of you of the man that you were and the accomplishments that you had achieved.
