He was predeceased by: his parents, Harley Poston Ritchardson Sr. and Betty Rose Sherman. He is survived by: his wife Susie; his daughter Amanda; his sister Barbara George; his niece Amy; his nephews, Rob and Bill; and his cousins, Ken and Bion Smalley.
He joked that this was his biggest contribution to the war effort.
