He was predeceased by: his wife Petty. He is survived by: his children, Patsy Ross (Dave) of Cocoa, Paul Smith (Anita) of Winston-Salem and Diane McGee (Dan) of Clara City; and his siblings, Truett C. Smith and Mary Urbanus. He is also survived by his 11 grandchildren, his 26 great grandchildren.
