She was predeceased by: her parents, James Spongross and Carol Spongross; her grandparents, Frederick and Dorothy Tocknell; and her brother John Thomas Barats.
She is survived by: her husband Joseph McPherson; her children, James "Michael" McCorkle (Casey) and Brandi Smith (Ross); her stepchildren, Hailey Bethel (Bennett) and Austin McPherson; and her siblings, James Spongross and Karen Spongross. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, & nephews.
