It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barbara Jane Smith of Merritt Island, Florida, born in Auburn, Indiana, who passed away on November 22, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Charles Rainier and Helen Rainier; her husband Richard Smith; her children, Mark Smith (Julie) of Cocoa Beach, Beth Schiedel (Barry) of Cape Canaveral and Tony Smith (Debbie) of Merritt Island; and her siblings, Sandra Tarlton of Louisville, KY, Terry Rainier (Linda) of Martinsville, IN and Larry Rainier (Anne) of Folsom, LA. She was also cherished by 9 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and 13 nieces and nephews.
