He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Ramsey and Edna Ramsey (Keel); his wife Mary Ramsey; and his siblings, Annette Dunn, Irma Hawkins, Evelyn Wright and Randolph Ramsey.

He is survived by: his children, Donna Jones of Waldo, Janet Bruce of Altoona, Alabama, Davy Jones (Dawn) of Raynham and Philip Jones (Wanda) of Keystone Heights; and his brother Bill F. Ramsey of Centerpoint, Alabama. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
