He was predeceased by: his parents, Crevie Jackson Ward and Daisy Ward (Quattlebaum); and his siblings, Fred Carlton Ward and Mary Glass. He is survived by: his wife Tonya Ward of Melrose, FL; his children, Peter Ward of Gainesville, FL, Andrew Ward of Lexington, KY, David Ward (Hunter Marsh) of Keystone Heights, FL, Heidi Spartz (Thomas) of Orlando, FL and Katie Thomas (Marcus); his sisters, Lena Adler (Ken) of Keystone Heights, FL and Mae Frank Bishop of Jacksonville, FL; his grandchildren, Lindsay Mason (Jordan), Ryan Spartz (Emily), Ethan Ward, Mackenzie Thomas, Ty Thomas and Austin Ward; his great grandchildren, Noah Mason and Madeline Mason; and also Jennifer Coville (Galen) of Middleburg, FL. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Banks/Page-Theus Chapel (410 Webster St, Wildwood, FL 34785). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
The family has requested donation to The Michael J. Fox foundation for Parkinson's Research at give.michaeljfox.org in Teddy's loving memory.
