She was predeceased by: her parents, Saint Bernard and Ruth May Rucker; her husband Samuel L. Ashwell; and her sister Carolyn Parker. She is survived by: her children, Steven T. Ashwell (Drue), Laurie A. French (Burt), Bonnie A. Mechtel (Frank) and Amy A. Cardenas (Marlon); and her siblings-in-law, Leroy Parker and Betty Arthur. She is also survived by many many nephews, nieces, cousins.
