It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Hubbard Sr. of Melrose, Florida, who passed away on May 25, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Rufus Hubbard and Bess Mullins Hubbard; his sisters, Sue Stapleton and Jane Napier Garrett; and his grandson Murdock Spencer Tisdale.
He is survived by: his wife Margret Jones Hubbard; his children, Artie Hubbard (Ginger) of Shelby, NC, Marty Hubbard (Tracy), Becky Tisdale (Rick) of Melrose, FL and Todd Hubbard (Kristin) of Melrose, FL; his grandchildren, Michael Hubbard (Kelly), Taylor Hubbard (Meaghan), Trey Hubbard (Megan), Casey Hubbard, Samuel Tisdale, Leeann Bridges (Stefin), David Tisdale (Catie), Lilli Tisdale, Jonathan Hubbard, Ashlyn Hubbard, Faith Hubbard, Nate Tisdale, Jed Tisdale, Timothy Hubbard, Daisy May Hubbard, Alli Tisdale, Anthony Hubbard, Jesse Tisdale and Deacon Hubbard; his great grandchildren, Piper, Maisie Hubbard and Baby Tisdale; his brothers, Richard Hubbard of Pennington Gap, VA, John Hubbard (Beth) of Williston, FL and Jerry Hubbard (Vicky) of Winter Garden, FL; and his brother-in-law Bill Jones of Cincinnati, OH. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
