William Frank Auton Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Frank Auton in Melbourne, Florida, who passed away on March 9, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Henry Auton and Gladys Beatrice Auton; and his siblings, Ivan, Woodrow Parks, John, Harley, Marvin, Lewis, R. D., Lois, Virginia Auton, Margaret Bennett and Margie Wilcox.
He is survived by: his wife Mertis Bentley Auton; his daughter Connie Auton Ashfield; his son-in-law Scott Ashfield; his son Robert "Bobby" Auton; his grandchildren, Stephanie Ashfield Gauzens and Steven Ashfield (Bethany Brusio); his great grandchildren, Jordan and Cody Parsons; and also Chris Gauzens. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Merritt Island Wildlife Association.
