She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Daniel and Lola Daniel; her brothers, Jack and Jim Daniel; her son Johnny Ray Lee; and her friend Janet Fussell.
She is survived by: her children, Kimberly (Don), Tammy and Jeff (Nancy); her daughter-in-law Margaret; her siblings, Don and Kay; her grandchildren, Shannon, John Jr. (Ashley), Todd, Kaitlyn, Gage, Alyssa and Zach; her great grandchildren, Ryan, Alexa, John, Jacob and Mariana; and her pets, Bones, Splinter, Patches and Tabitha. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, and family friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to any animal shelter in Velma's honor.
