He was predeceased by: his parents, William Diener and Mary Diener (Fleming); his wife Norma Jean (Beaumont); his daughter Jeanne Franklin; and his siblings, William (Bill) and Betty Lou.
He is survived by: his children, Dawn Karaffa (Mike), Joseph Diener of Melbourne, FL, Thomas James Diener (Lynn) of Palm Bay, FL and Patrick Diener (Denise) of New Brighton, PA; and his brother Michael Diener of Largo, FL.. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; and at least, twenty-seven great grandchildren.
