Shirley Marion Newman Obituary

On October 3, 2007, Shirley Marion Newman (Zimmer), 76, residing in Melbourne, FL, passed away in her home after a courageous battle with cancer. Shirley, the daughter of Raymond and Bertha Hannes Zimmer, grew up in Arcade, NY in a family of six children. She graduated high school and married John Robert Newman, son of J. Milford and Isabel Newman, also of Arcade.

Together, they had five children. SHirley, a long time resident of Webster, NY, devout mother and friend to many, enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting and many other crafts. She is survived by her husband, John her five children, Rick (Brenda) Newman of Erwin, TN, Greg (Sandy) Newman of North Port, FL, Bob (Deb) Newman of Greece, NY, Penny (Bob) Twitchell of Cumming, Ga, and Scott (Collette) Newman of LIttle Elm, TX, as well as 17 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
