It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Barton Murrell in Melbourne, Florida, born in Winterset, Iowa, who passed away on September 6, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, David Murrell and Merle Murrell (Marston). He is survived by: his children, Michael Murrell (Deborah) of Cedar Rapids, Lizabeth Harris (William) of Melbourne, FL and Marty Murrell of Charlotte, IA; and his grandchildren, Sarah Swenson, Luke Murrell, Wade Harris, Moira and Maclane Murrell. He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, September 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Emmanuel United Methodist Church (2800 W Eau Gallie Blvd, Melbourne, FL 32935). A burial will be held on Saturday, April 12th 2025.
