It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Gustave Phelan of Melbourne, Florida, who passed away on February 20, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Margaret Koehler (Bohn) and Gustave Oxios; his former wife Grace Phelan (McKeough); his wife Elizabeth Wilbert Phelan; his daughters, Patricia Olsen (Steven) of Rutland, MA, Donna Phelan of Burke, VA, Jean Knebels (William) of Burke, VA and Joan Phelan of Burke, VA; his grandchildren, Alison Perry of Rocky Hill, CT, Andrew Perry of Dallas, TX and Rebecca Knebels of Burke, VA.; and his brothers, Donald Phelan (Karen) of Melbourne, FL and John Phelan (Kathy) of Knoxville, TN.

Donations may be made in his honor to the American Heart Association or to American Humane.
