He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Gaertner and Catherine Gaertner (Black); and his son Douglas. He is survived by: his significant other Barbara Ann Gaertner (Reinhardt) of Melbourne, FL.; and his children, Kathleen Pedine (Richard) of Bradford, PA., David Gaertner (Alison) of Schertz, TX, Donna Hollenbeck (Mark) of Bradford and Linda Staples (James) of North Wales. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
