He was predeceased by: his parents, Philemon Croteau and Fleurette Croteau. He is survived by: his wife Betty Lewis; his children, Colette Perez (Frabrizzio) of Miami, Lisa Croteau Grosswald of Orlando, Valerie Lamon of Hialeah and Marc Croteau of Jupiter; his grandchildren, Alexandra Grosswald, Cole Grosswald, Ashley Lamon and Brittany Pirozzi; and his great grandchild Annabelle Lamon.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Renè's name to Ascension Catholic Church, 2950 North Harbor City Boulevard, Melbourne, FL, 32935.
