It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Peter Fay of Melbourne, Florida, born in Rochester, New York, who passed away on January 31, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lester Fay and Jane Fay; his wife Claudia Patricia; and his children, Michael (Paula), William and Darcy Williams (Kelly).
Due to COVID-19 the Funeral arrangements are being completed and livestreaming will be available through St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church Melbourne, Florida.
Judge Peter Thorp ("Pete") Fay was simply the best. He now rests in peace. In lieu of flowers the following places may be made for donations: University of Florida Law School-Peter Thorp Fay Jurist-in-residence program; Rollins College; St. Thomas University Law School; Wounded Warriors Project and Shiners Hospital for children.
