He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Lantry and Edna Lantry (Yarnell); his son Kenn; and his siblings, Ellen and Wayne.

He is survived by: his wife Beverly of Melbourne, FL; his son Doug Lantry (Peggy Lindsey) of Xenia, OH; his siblings, Janet Johnston (Glenn) of Melbourne, FL, Ardyth of Orlando, FL, Ginny Swanson (Larry) of Orlando, FL and Dick; his brother-in-law George Laye of Washington, MA; and his pet Juliett. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Coast Guard Mutual Assistance Fund (cgmahq.org/donate/memorial.html) or The Ohio State University's Eugene J. Weigel Memorial Scholarship for Music Education (giveto.osu.edu/makeagift/?fund=607631).
