He was predeceased by: his parents, Esther Mae Milburn and Harold Eugene Milburn; and his brother Douglas Eugene Milburn. He is survived by: his wife Robin Kay Milburn; his daughter Madison Raye Milburn; and his siblings, Paula Milburn Collins (Ricky) and Richard Milburn (Laurie).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to a scholarship fund in Mel's name, which will fund education for adult learners pursuing a degree in Engineering at the University of Louisville's J.B. Speed School.
