Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Mary Pavlakos in Melbourne, Florida, born in Asheville, North Carolina, who passed away at the age of 98, on January 13, 2024. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Mimidis and Helen Mimidis; her husband Louis Pavlakos; and her siblings, Stamatia Sigman, Vaseleke Kavounis and Chris Mimidis.

She is survived by: her children, Katherine Canellis (Bill) and John Pavlakos (Debra); her granddaughters, Maria Canellis, Dimitra Schmidt (Bryce), Stephanie Fitzgerald (Ryan) and Cortney Pavlakos; and her great grandchildren, Audrey, Wesley Schmidt, Jakks and Avery Fitzgerald.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation be made in Mary's loving memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or St. Katherine's Greek Orthodox Church.
