She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Rose and Martha Ruth Rose; her husband Warren Ellsworth Henderson; and her siblings, Florence O'Patchen, Albert Rose and Ralph Rose.

She is survived by: her daughter Tama Johnson; her grandson Zach Johnson; and her great grandchild Joycelyn Venable-Johnson. She is also survived by four nephews, four nieces, and numerous great- and great-great- nephews and nieces.
