She was predeceased by: her parents, John Nelson Tiller and Florence Cerecedo Ryan; and her brother Bill Ryan Jr.. She is survived by: her husband John Mackie Lee, III; and her son John Mackie Lee, IV.
As a certified nurse anesthetist, Luz was a proud member of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists, where she was recognized as an emeritus member for her lifelong contributions to the profession.
