He was predeceased by: his significant other Kathleen Violet Crooks (Kathy); his parents, Harold Crooks and Dorothy Crooks; and his siblings, Dorothy Harrelson, Harold and Philip Crooks.
He is survived by: his sons, Kenneth C. Crooks, Dr. Kerry A. Crooks (Viviene) and Kristian "Andy" Crooks (Dawn); his grandchildren, Kenney Crooks (Stacey), Daniel Crooks (Jennifer), Courtney Crooks, Justin Crooks (Alexis), Katharine Crooks, Victoria Crooks, Kiyra Scheller (Austin), Karly Crooks, Kasey Crooks, Heather Crooks, Dakota Crooks (Josie) and Hunter Crooks; and his sister Betty Balombini. He is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, cherished friends, family, and colleagues are encouraged to donate in memory of Ken to a charity of their choice, or to the Florida Institute of Technology's College of Aeronautics Dean's Fund.
