It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Thomas Childs (Melbourne, Florida), born in Brundidge, Alabama, who passed away on March 25, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Rubin Belle and Mattie Belle; his wife Betty Ann Childs; his daughters, Judy Howard (Jim), Kathryn Homer (Robert) and Carolyn Hazen (Glenn); his grandchildren, Melissa Franklin, Travis Gammon, Paul Gammon, Kate Homer, Nathan Homer, Lenny Costa III, Lane Costa and Luke Costa; his son John T. Childs, Jr.; and his siblings, Carol Amenta, Evelyn Flora and Bill Childs.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
