It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Madison Murphree (Melbourne, Florida), born in Montgomery, Alabama, who passed away on December 16, 2019, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Martha Josephine (Jo); and his daughter Sharon Gaye Hurley. He is survived by: his children, Sunni Maureen, David Lee Hurley, Joy Melinda, Merri Beth Benjamin, John Jeffrey Murphree, Martha Glee Cole, Kim Hope Piedad and Janet Faith Letchworth. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren.
