He was predeceased by: his parents, Abel Gutierrez and Aida Gutierrez; his stepmother Mireya; and his brothers, Abel and Alexis Gutierrez.
He is survived by: his wife Vicky; his children, Carol Gutierrez, Kelly Lockamy, Laura Costandi (Walid) and Alan Gutierrez (Catherine); and his grandchildren, Neva Lockamy, Anna Lockamy, Dasan Costandi and Rebecca Zuhoski. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and great grandchildren.
