We are sad to announce that on September 29, 2021, at the age of 63, Janice Charlene Kowing of Melbourne, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Faircloth and Billie Faircloth; her grandparents, Ryan and Grace Sullivan; and her father-in-law Loren Kowing (Bud).

She is survived by: her husband Richard Kowing; her children, Ricky Kowing (Brynn) and Kristin Kowing; her siblings, Beverly Sandberg, Malinda Liatos (Moe) and James Faircloth (Lumpy); her grandchildren, Levi, Gracelyn, Brantley, Paisley, Ryleigh and Summer; and her mother-in-law Janet Kowing.

“What a kind, thoughtful and forceful woman. I got the make of Janice's playful personality when in the employ of West Shore Junior Senior High School. One day, I strolled into the Admin Office during the lunch break with the intention of reheating my clam chowder. I didn't give it a second thought, and popped my victuals in microwave and nuked away - it was clam chowder! Rinse. Repeat.”
