He was predeceased by: his mother Inez Spradley; and his sister Gwen Hammons Price. He is survived by: his wife Mary "Joyce"; his children, Jack, Jr. and Melanie Godsey (Larry); his grandson Corey Allen (Anastasia); his nephew Mike Hammons; and his niece Sherry Steagall.
