She was predeceased by: her siblings, Isabel Ramos and Noelia Cordero. She is survived by: her parents, Marianna Cotto and Ricardo Cotto; and her siblings, Luz Dalmau, Leonardo Ramos, Israel Ferrer and Sara Dewey. She is also survived by her many nephews and nieces.

It was not till the progression her mother's own illness of Parkinson's disease that they were separated.
