She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Kortum and Elizabeth Kortum; her child Lawrence Whitesell; and her siblings, Roy, Robert and Bernice.

She is survived by: her children, Jeffery Whitesell of Virginia Beach and Jennifer Therrien of Cocoa Florida; her brothers, Jerry and Edward; and her children, Todd, Kevin, Neil, Evan, Abagail Grace and Sarah Grace.
