He is survived by: his wife Sandra Zavota; his children, April McGahee (Michael) and Latina Nousain (Aaron); his stepdaughters, Tracy Merlino (Paul) and Wanda LoBasso; his grandchildren, Bryan Cauthen, Celina Diaz, Destiny Torres, Ethan McGahee, Nicole Lund, Mia Merlino and Vincent Merlino; his parents, Lewis Franklin and Bessie Franklin; and his siblings, Kenneth Franklin and Lynda Franklin. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
