“So sorry to learn of Gene's passing. Even though it's many years since seeing Gene. He has never left my mind and heart. Gene gave me my start in a career when he hired me at Pan American Tire back in 1971. Even after I had an accident driving his personal car while delivering tires to a wholesale customer. He not only taught me the tire business, but he also taught me how to treat customers with honestly and respect. Linda, my love and prayers to you and your family. Lou Schmitt”
