It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy (Sizemore) Riley in Melbourne, Florida, born in Hyden, Kentucky, who passed away on November 30, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband McKinley Riley; her son Donald Riley; and her sisters, Eva Smallwood, Ora Bell, Martha Bray, Daisy Estep and Hallie Hensley.
She is survived by: her children, Tom (Tammie Riley), Danny Riley of Cincinnati, Ohio, Madeline Riley of Cincinnati and Mary Jo Harvey of Loveland, Ohio; and her siblings, James (Betty Sizemore), Jessie Snyder of Connersville and Easter Hensley of London, Kentucky. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, a host of treasured great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wolfe and Sons Funeral Home (23185 US-421, Hyden, KY 41749). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Couch's Fork Church of God (33246 US-421, Bear Branch, KY 41714).
