She was predeceased by: her parents, John Chenoweth and Estelle Chenoweth (Long) of Arcadia, IN; her husband Harold Newby of Melbourne, FL; her sons, Michael Newby of Melbourne, FL and Brian Newby of Melbourne, FL; and her grandson Heath Timmons of Portland, OR..
She is survived by: her sister Phylis Baitz of Arcadia, IN; her children, Vicki L. Thorp of Palm Bay, FL and Dale Newby (Krisitne) of Melbourne, FL; and her granddaughters, Samantha Stephens (Nathan) of Jacksonville, NC, Stephanie Knuckles (Charles) of Lutz, FL, Misty DeWaal (Tim) and Amber Newby of Portland, OR. She is also survived by 12 Great Grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First Church (110 E New Haven Ave, Melbourne, FL 32901). She loved bowling and belonged to numerous leagues over the years, the last one being the TGIF league which she continued in until the pandemic changed things.
