It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of Anna Marie Novak on Friday, February 23, 2018 in Melbourne, Florida at 87 years young. Anna was born in Brooklyn, New York on May 19, 1930, the oldest daughter of Helen and John Cannon. Anna was the mother to Donna Bruckner, John Bruckner, and JoAnn Bruckner; grandmother to Gregory Klitses, Shannon Dickinson, David Boyd, Dean Bruckner, and Desirae Bruckner; great-grandmother to Kaylee Hoover and Paige Meenach; sister to John Cannon, Grace Segrell, Patrick Cannon, and Daniel Cannon; and loved dearly by Lawrence McCormick.
Anna is remembered and loved by countless cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. The matriarch of an enormous family, Anna will live on in the lives of those she touched around her and will never be forgotten. A wake will be held Monday, February 26, 2018 at Beach Funeral Home, 4999 N. Wickham Road, Melbourne, Florida from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.; and services will be held Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at Holy Name of Jesus Church, 3050 N Highway A1A, Indialantic, Florida at 11 a.m.
Memorial donations in memory of Anna may be made to the American Cancer Society or Brevard Alzheimer's Foundation.
