She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. Jose Vergara (Pepe); her parents, John F. Byron Jr. and Elizabeth Byron (DeBassio); her siblings, John, Joe and Betty Byron; and her pets, Smokey and Emma.
She is survived by: her children, John Vergara (Michael Hayden) of Valencia Spain, David Vergara (Lisa) of Needham, MA, Nancy Barrett (Sean) of North Haven, CT and Paula Vergara of Melbourne, FL.; her grandchildren, Natalie, Rachel, Paul Vergara, Caitlin, Andrew and Luke Barrett; her great grandchild Vance Vergara; her friends, Gail Hoffman, Barbara Matimore and Bettyann Lawton; and also Consuelo. She is also survived by her family and friends.
