She was predeceased by: her sister Iree Helton; and her nephew Steve Helton. She is survived by: her husband Hansel; her children, Katheena Pifer (Tom), Douglas Mead (Kaori) and Tracy Runyon (Doug); her grandchildren, Meagan Pifer, Logan Pifer, Sinclair Runyon and Sophie Runyon; her niece Jeanne Helton; her great-niece Sarah Ortagus; and also Hansel Byron Mead.
