It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alberta Kathryn Hillis of Melbourne, Florida, born in Conran, Missouri, who passed away on March 27, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Curtis and Eliza Curtis (Froman); her husband Jerry Hillis; her sons, Anthony and Kevin Hillis; and her siblings, Irene Curtis, Mary Belle Call, Helen Caudill, Gracie Mayberry, Margie Whitright and Lindol Curtis.
She is survived by: her daughter Marla Powell of Melbourne, Florida; her grandchildren, Christian Powell, James Powell and Micaela Powell; and her great grandchildren, Layla, Aria and Mason. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
