With profound sadness, we say goodbye to William Clayton Whitehead of Melbourne Village, Florida, born in New Bedford, Massachusetts, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edna May Fuller Whitehead and Ivon "Ben" Whitehead; and his daughter Laura. He is survived by: his wife Karen; his children, Keith Whitehead (Chris), Karen T. Whitehead, Heidi Vines and Debra D'Alessandro; his stepchildren, Lauren Lyerla (Tim) and Russell M. Gaspard (Alicia); his grandchildren, Dominic and Zoe D'Alessandro; his stepgrandson James Lyerla; and his sister Judy Kent. He is also survived by his children and grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, some may choose to make a donation to one of Bill's favorite causes: Habitat for Humanity, St. Jude's Research Hospital for Children, The United Farm Workers of America, or the Natural Resources Defense Council.
