She was predeceased by: her parents, Skip Carlson and Ann Carlson; and her brother Bob Carlson. She is survived by: her husband Peter Chase; her sons, Steve and Dave; her daughters-in-law, Lydia and Erin; her grandchildren, Kelly, Kiera, Paige, Campbell and Nathan; and her siblings, Ed Carlson and Sue Churchill.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Cancer Society or the Fisher House Foundation.
