He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Furtado and Celia Furtado (Medeiros); and his sister Dorothy Jessie. He is survived by: his wife Jo-Ann Furtado (Andrade); his children, Steven D. Furtado (Darilyn) of West Warwick and Ann C. Gomes (Gilbert) of Apopka, Florida; his grandchildren, Jaime Furtado, Danielle Gomes, Heather Turner (Gomes) and Adam Furtado; and his siblings, Norberta Hodgson and Maria Morin.
