Charles Benjamin Waud Obituary

We are sad to announce that on March 12, 2022, at the age of 81, Charles Benjamin Waud of Melbourne Beach, Florida, born in Waukegan, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Delbert Waud and Evelyn Waud (Morgan). He is survived by: his son Christopher Charles Morgan Waud (Amy Phillips); his wife Linda (Nauta); his brother Robert Waud (Janet); his siblings-in-law, Karen Ferrante (Joseph), Sally Minnix and Tyrus Minnix; his stepchildren, Kristin Jones, Peter Jones (Cherryl) and Mitchell Jones (Frances); his grandchildren, Wyatt, Austin, Ryder Waud, Katie Slatton (Aaron), Maggie, Jillian O'Hara, Angela, Audrey, Gibson, Claire and Molly Jones; his nephew Adam Waud (Virginia); and his niece Melissa Bauernfeind (Chad). He is also survived by 5 great-nephews and nieces.

For years, Ben was on the board and read weekly for the "Reading for the Blind and Dyslexic Foundation" (now called "Learning Ally.").
