Albert J. Piraino Obituary

Albert J. Piraino, 80, of Melbourne Beach passed away, November 10th 2023, with his family by his side.

Albert (Al) was born in Syracuse, New York. He is predeceased by his parents, Lena (Lobello) and Peter Piraino; his brother's Martin (Barbara) Piraino and John Piraino.

Albert (Al) is survived by his beloved wife for sixty-one years Janet (Shafer) Piraino. His sister Sarah Urciuoli, his brother in laws Jacob (Sharon) Shafer, and Richard (Gail) Shafer. His three children, his son Daniel Piraino, daughter Sherri (Steve) Popps and daughter Denise (Brian) McMahon. His four grandchildren James Turner Jr., and Alicia Turner, Julian Piraino, and Brian McMahon and one great-grandchild Savannah Mondore, and several nieces and nephews.

Albert (Al) graduated from Eastwood High School in 1961. He was a commercial real-estate broker in Syracuse, New York. Al enjoyed fishing and boating and spending time doing those things with his friends and family. Al loved spending time on Oneida Lake catching perch and walleye. When Al was in Florida he enjoyed fishing and trapping blue and stone crabs, as well as clamming on the Indian River. Al loved to use his catch to prepare seafood dishes for his friends and family.
