It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alfred Jernigan of McDavid, Florida, born in Century, Florida, who passed away on November 18, 2022, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton Jernigan and Agnes "Kitty" McCawley Jernigan; and his brothers, Jimmy Jernigan and Harold Jernigan. He is survived by: his wife Linda Cooper Jernigan; his sons, Steven White (Brandy) of Walnut Hill, FL and Brandon Jernigan (Adam Fanion) of Phoenix, AZ; his siblings, Lee Marvin Jernigan of McDavid, FL, Mike Beals, Annette Crews (Fred) of Pensacola, FL and Cindy McCraw (Jack) of Pace, FL; his grandchildren, Cassidy Smith (Michael) and Alexis White; his great grandchildren, Hazel Smith and Meela Smith; and his siblings-in-law, Rodney "Buddy" Cooper of Repton, AL, Rickey Cooper (Kathy) of Pensacola, FL, Shannon Cooper (Martha) of Repton, AL and Gloria Cooper Brantley of East Brewton, AL. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
